ROGER’S WALK APARTMENTS

This apartment community in Laurel, NJ was designed as the third phase, and provided a unique solution to the rental demands of the first two phases. The overall building footprints of the first two phases had already been planned and accepted by the municipality and by the civil documentation. However, the challenge presented to our firm was to change the unit mix from 50% One Bedrooms and 50% Two Bedrooms to 25% One Bedroom and 75% Two Bedroom.

The firm creatively adjusted the layouts and jogged the building units to decrease the overall unit square footage yet increase the two-bedroom count, while maintaining the overall unit count of 8 units per building.
