Located on the former SEARS parcel of White Marsh Mall, the team designed a strategic Mall Revisioning with 450 market rate apartments. They have been envisioned and detailed for a life-style rich, modern, and convenient experience. This new residential hub creates a strong balance between the existing White Marsh Mall and The Avenue at White Marsh shopping, dining, and entertainment.

02. MID ATLANTIC REAL ESTATE JOURNAL: 2022 Best of Architecture Award – Chevy Chase Lake

Chevy Chase Lake, a mixed-use community, is nestled in the affluent Chevy Chase and Bethesda areas of Maryland. Consisting of two apartment buildings and one condominium building, all with ground floor retail and restaurants, the site cradles a generous European style plaza for outdoor gatherings, café seating, and recreation. The new Purple Line station is directly connected. Each building is scaled to reflect the charm and materials of the former age of Chevy Chase, while being certified as LEED Silver projects.

“Port Imperial” is an impressive Master Planned Community started in 1995 with almost 30 years of continuous re-development. Looking back, we are still in awe of the opportunity we had to create this master plan that provided the transformation from Brownfield with industrial smokestacks to a vibrant community along New Jersey’s gold coast overlooking Manhattan.

04. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY of Chester County

At the 20th annual Build A House, nearly 100 5th graders from the Delaware Valley region came to present their home-made “dream home model” to a panel of judges to compete for the top three winners. They crafted their homes with creativity, passion, detail, and critical decision making. In addition to sponsoring, The Martin Architectural Group had three judges participating: Jaime Esbensen-Kelly, Scott Hartner, and Dan McCauley.
